Welcome!

The purpose of our parent nursery school program is to make the best possible provision for the development of the young child, and at the same time help parents understand the child's development through monthly parent education evening classes.

Through play, children learn about themselves and their world. By using age appropriate materials and associating with children of similar age, a child's confidence grows. A participating parent can watch and listen as the children learn and so be better equipped to meet their own child's needs. Parents are able to observe trained teachers and learn different ways of handling situations that may seem difficult. The evening classes provide opportunity to discuss these observations and other subjects relating to pre-school parenting and education. In this way, the school program can increase parent's understanding of themselves and their children.

Broadmoor provides a fun and loving atmosphere for your child to develop self-esteem, stimulate the mind, learn cooperation and nurture the personality. For the participating parent, Broadmoor provides a safe place to examine parenting techniques and learn from others in a non-judgmental way.  Broadmoor is a place of friendship, offering opportunities for parents to meet and interact informally; to share experiences and not be so isolated.
