Enrollment Process

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2020/2021 SCHOOL YEAR

For 2020/2021, The Parent Info Night is February 6, 2020, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, and our Open house is February 29, 2020, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

We will be accepting applications from March 1 to April 17, 2020, and will do a lottery at the end of April month (if necessary).

Enrollment in the Broadmoor co-op typically begins in March for the school year beginning the following September. Currently enrolled families and alumni of the program are given priority, then all other applicants are entered into a lottery for the remaining open spaces.

Parent Info Night

In February, parents interested in the co-op are invited to come meet the Directors, see the school, and learn about the program’s mission and philosophies. Application packets are available at this event. For 2020, Parent Info Night is Thursday, February 6, 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Parent Info Night is for adults only, please.

Open House

Held on a weekend in March, Broadmoor’s Open House is an opportunity for families to visit the school with their children. Currently, enrolled families are present to talk about the co-op experience, and give a feel for what a typical school day might look like with projects set up in each of the curriculum stations. Application packets are available at this Open House. For 2020, Open House is Saturday, February 29, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

School Tours

School tours occur throughout the school year, by appointment. All families are strongly encouraged to take a tour of the school before submitting an application for membership. Please contact tours@broadmoorpreschool.org to schedule.

Applications Accepted

Applications will be accepted March 1-April 17, 2020. Currently enrolled families and alumni are automatically welcomed back to the co-op, provided their applications are received by April 17, 2020 and they remain in good standing. Applications from new families received after April 18, 2020 will be entered into a lottery, if a lottery is necessary.

Lottery Drawn

If there are more applicants than available spots, a lottery is drawn. Those not chosen in the lottery will be placed on a waitlist in the order drawn. Applications received after the deadline will be placed on the waitlist in the order received.

July 31, 2020

All remaining registration paperwork and payments for the upcoming school year are due.
